Mitsubishi introduces the new model of Lancer that offers very distinctively styled Lancer and the only engine offers is diesel. The four-cylinder works with conventional manifold injection.
The more surprising fact about Lancer cars is that it the 1425 kg heavy five-seater according to the manufacturer consumed as low as 7.7 liters for the model with five-speed manual. The daily consumption is highly dependent on the gas pedal. Between eight and 14 liters of premium petrol are feasible, according to on-board computer.
The aluminum engine of Lancer turns up willingly, is compared to the Diesel very smoothly. The engine of Mitsubishi Lancer cars is much more efficient and convenient than any other model.
With the combination of gasoline engine and continuously variable CVT automatic is quite impressive. Via push link chain, the gear ratio continuously adapts to the driving situation and tried in principle to keep the engine speed as low as possible. If you foot off the gas that means down speed and foot fully on the accelerator and the tachometer sticks to the red zone.
Speaking of sporty in Japan it is obviously in vogue. For comfort lovers equipment to the Intense in the driving is limited because only 215/45 R18 tires are mounted. The cost of Lancer cars are convenience. Nevertheless, the Lancer is not a bad choice for the people who want sportiness and comfort together. It rolls over coarser irregularities with the necessary rest and comfort. When you drive it you will think you are sitting in a sporty Evo version car.
The Lancer comes with 143-horsepower engine, air conditioning, MP3-CD radio and at least seven airbags (drivers knee airbag). These cars are automatic climate control, 18-inch alloy wheels, the heavy sound system with six-disc CD changer and a sportily molded front spoiler lip and striking side skirts. You will get a Lancer super-spacious in a fair price; it is a chic and something different vehicle. Only the 400-liter capacity to compact precipitated trunk does not quite fit into the picture.
I will say fair price, fair vehicle. For this little money you have to look far to find a similarly well-equipped and neatly processed 140-hp sedan. The 1.8-liter engine does its job unspectacular in Lancer; the continuously variable transmission is its monetary value. In the sporting Intense version the chassis serves not with comfort, but the compromise is satisfactory.
