Honda Airwave was introduced in 2005 and came as a 5 door wagon. The name Airwave indicates the flow of air or wind and describes refreshed energized option.   The vehicle came as a front engine front wheel drive option to enhance performance. The four wheel drive option is also there to bring grip on the road. The vehicle is also called Honda Fit Wagon in a number of markets. It came in lower displacement of 1500 CC only that was based on inline 4 technology.
