Q10. Which vehicles can be imported in Trinidad & Tobago?

Trinidad's current import regulations allow the import of RHD (Right Hand Drive) vehicles as follows:

Newer than 4 years (from 2014) for petrol engine (private vehicles).
Newer than 3 years (from 2015) for diesel engine (private vehicles).
Newer than 7 years (from 2011) for diesel commercial vehicles.
Newer than 10 years (from 2008) for buses and trucks (commercial vehicles).
Note: This is the current regulation and may change. We recommend reconfirming before placing any orders.

Q11. What extra charges do we have to pay other than the C&F cost?

There are no extra or hidden charges from SBT Japan apart from the C&F cost. C&F cost includes the vehicle cost and freight charges, which cover delivery to your port. However, you will need to pay the duty and taxes locally in Trinidad when clearing the vehicle.

Q12. Where do I need to send payment?

All payments must be sent to SBT's bank account in Japan. You should send money only to SBT Co. Ltd.'s beneficiaries in Japan. We also accept PayPal payments! Ask your sales representative for more details.
