How does the auction car work?

We assist you in bidding and buying the cars from the auction. You can see all the cars listed and choose what you want even before making a deposit to start the bidding process.

Why do you need a security deposit?

This is to ensure both the customer (you) and our company to avoid the mistakes; there will be no last-minute cancellation or spam bid. Also the security deposit is refundable. If you are unable to secure a successful bid, your deposit will be refunded in full. However, with your consent, this amount can be used for future bidding on another unit.

Can I use my deposit money to pay for the car?

Yes, that is possible.

How can I make the deposit?

• Bank transfer (Telegraphic Transfer, Wire transfer)

Why are there only a few photos of the car on the auction side?

Auction house displays only 2 or 3 photos. More pictures can be arranged as per the availability of physical inspection. Also if your bid was successful, in a few days you can review enough photos from our website.

How can I get the details of the car I want, if they’re written in Japanese?

On the auction site, there is a translation bottom you can request. Also you can ask any question regarding the vehicle you are looking to purchase. We can provide insights of market price!

How do I know if I can import the car to my country?

Your account manager in SBT will provide proper guidance and we’ll ensure that you’re not left alone.

Am I bidding on the auction live myself?

No, Only Japanese car exporters with licenses are eligible to bid so we will be bidding on your required vehicle.

Can I talk to someone directly?

Yes, we are 24/7 available and your account manager will stay in contact with you until you ‘get’ the car.
