Overview
In 1970 the Japanese car manufacturers Mitsubishi sedan Lancer goes in technically modifications. In the early 1990s, the Japanese developed from the race-tested Lancer GSR a homologation model, the four-door notchback sedan in small series as Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution in the manufacturing years 1992 - 93. Since that time, the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution presented the flagship of the series.
Characteristic features were derived from its racing roots with front and rear spoilers, sports seats and high-performance engines and standard four wheel drive. Popular models of this car include Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 2014, 2013, 2012, 2010, 2008, 2006. In 2005, next generation of Mitsubishi lancer evolution x was introduced designed by Omer Halilhodžic.
Early Years of Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution
In the first years of manufacture, the manufacturer gave the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution in two versions as Lancer RS and GSR with a capacity of up to 182 kW of (247 hp). In the body design, the Sport versions of the conventional high-volume vehicles with a front spoiler, air vents in the hood and a fixed rear spoiler distinction.
In the manufacturing period of 1994-1995 the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution came with an updated 2.0 liter turbo engine on the market, which provided the road-going racing model and a power output of up to 188 kW (256 hp). In the 1995 to 1996 the generation equipped with a larger rear spoiler and Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution offered 201 kW access (273 hp).
With the generational change in the series of Lancer models in 1996 the manufacturer presented a visually and technically revamped version of the Lancer Evolution, which was based on a new platform and noticed by its framed fog lights in the front apron.

Specs
The updated Evolution comes with a four cylinder turbocharged engine along with variable valve and a latest six speed gearbox. The updated engine of Lancer Evolution develops an output of 280 hp that accelerates a 5.7 seconds and speed of 250 kilometer per hour. For the implementation of the engine power, the electronically controlled all-wheel drive ensures AWC.
The use of aluminum in the body and a rear spoiler made of carbon fiber material contribute to the weight reduction and the agile handling of the Japanese super sports car. Visually, the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution can be recognized by a modified front bumper with new and redesigned rear fascia with integrated diffuser.
