The 2015 Subaru forester is a remarkable vehicle with a wide range of qualities such as it has spaciousness of a crossover, flexibility of a car, great handling and ride quality of a station wagon.

STANDARD AND OPTIONAL FEATURES

All foresters come with standard features including Bluetooth connectivity with audio streaming, tilt/telescope steering and trip computer functions. Premium models are offered in two variations. Passengers opting for a manual transmission get a windshield wiper, heated mirrors and heated front seats while opting for the CVT gets you a panoramic power moonroof. Convenience features include front and rear door pockets and cup holders, cargo area power outlets and front seatback storage. Comfort features are Front reading lights, Air conditioning, rear floor mats, dual vanity mirrors and cargo area lights. Entertainment features included are Mast Antenna, Radio data system, AM/FM stereo, USB connection and total six speakers. The new 2015 Subaru Forester claims to have up to 27 mpg combined.

Subaru Forester 2015 - INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR DESIGNS

The 2015 Subaru forester is not very huge when compared with the previous generation models. Some of its design patterns and themes are very similar to that of the Subaru Impreza. The outward visibility is the prime focus. The 2015 Subaru forester is equipped with two options of engines. A large number of models are equipped with a naturally aspirated 2.5-Liter engine available with Lineartronic CVT automatic or a 6-speed manual transmission. The other one a turbocharged, direct-injected 2.0-liter engine makes the vehicle more powerful and is available with a 6-speed manual transmission.

To ensure larger space within the interior the Subaru has reshaped the interior by moving roof pillar positions and the positions of the seats. The seats are adjustable and spacious and comfortable with cushions. There is plenty of cargo space too. For longer trips the second row seating is more comfortable. Just like the low-set dash of the outback, legacy and Impreza, Subaru forester too has the dash set with the same style. The instrument panel has been restyled. With the refined material used to furnish the interior, the class of the vehicle has become more elegant.

SAFETY

The safety measures of the Subaru forester have been enhanced exceptionally. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) declares the 2015 Subaru Forester SUV as the most secured with highest level of safety vehicle. A rearview camera and a Bluetooth are also offered as standard features.

Visibility has been enhanced by changing the position of the side mirrors and A-pillars. The safety features included are Hill Descent Control, a camera based EyeSight system and adaptive cruise control. Other significant safety features include Security System Shock Sensor, Traction control, Stability control and a 4-wheel ABS along with the front and rear head airbags.
