Two years after the introduction of its C-Class following the Mercedes-Benz 190, Daimler presented the first model of the Mercedes-Benz C230 in 1995. The C230 was introduced as a sedan in the three equipment variants Classic, Esprit and Elegance as well as in two different engines as a four-cylinder.
Engine Specification
Up to the year 1998 the Mercedes-Benz C230 with a 2.3-liter unit that powered 110 kW (150 hp) and accelerated the sedan to 207 km / h. The Mercedes-Benz C230 reached the hundredth mark in this engine version in 10.7 seconds. By the year 2000, the more powerful compressor engine with 1.8 liters displacement and 142 kW (193 hp) remained in the program, with which the car accelerated to 235 km / h.
Second Generation of C230
The second generation of Mercedes C230 in the mid-range since 2004 was initially only introduced in compressor version from the predecessor along with four-cylinder in-line engine, which was also used in the Mercedes-Benz CL230 coupe. With 142 kW (193 hp), the second generation of Mercedes-Benz C 230 was the most powerful model in the mid range four-cylinder models. In 2005, the Daimler replaced this engine with a powerful new unit along with 2.5 liters engine displacement without a compressor.
Interior
The interior of the Mercedes Benz C230 is spacious enough to accommodate bulky people with giving them good space. The good room not only in the rear but also in the front of the car really gives a great advantage. The luggage compartment is easy to use like loading and unloading of the luggage is really easy. The suspension is tight but well-balanced. The seats fitted in the interior are much comfortable as well as low internal noise combined creates a great soothing internal environment.
Third Generation
The third generation of the Mercedes-Benz C 230 ran off the production line in 2007 along with the V6 engine of the predecessor and built until middle of 2009 in the three equipment variants, Elegance and avant-garde.
Special feature of this series: For the first time, the Mercedes star has been integrated into the radiator section in the sporty-trimmed avant-garde version as with the coupés of the manufacturer. The Mercedes-Benz C 250 was the successor to the Mercedes-Benz C 230. It had the same performance, but had a higher torque with the direct injection of its four-cylinder series engine. Used Mercedes C230 can be easily available in the market at reasonable price.
