The Range Rover Evoque is presented for the first time to the public in July 2010 and has got a big response to the press and the public. At the start of the sale in September 2011, the Evoque is available in a three-door coupé variant and in a five-door variant.
By the introduction of the 9-speed automatic in 2014, the drive has clearly gained. Forced driving, the smooth chassis quits with clear car body irrigation. Inside, four adults can be comfortably accommodated, but the low height can make the problem for all.
Prices
A Range Rover is an expensive affair. This also applies to the smallest model. Starting at just 35,600 euros, the coupé is available from 44,200 euros, the convertible from just 49,200 euros. With four equipment versions and various tempting extras, the price can be significantly increased and more than double. In return, the Evoque offers high-value stability, the segment-spanning peak and very low loss of value.
Interior
Inside, the distinctively comfortable character of the Range Rover Evoque continues especially on the two front seats. Here, the driver and passenger enjoy large, comfortable seats as well as sufficient freedom of movement for the head and shoulders.
There is no question of luggage. With enough capacity, the Evoque has a top value in its class. Since a premium SUV is rarely ever used for the transport of huge or other bulky clutter, the equipment with comfort and safety features is far more relevant than the maximum swallowing capacity of the luggage compartment.
Redesign Exterior
Not least with its completely new design language, Range Rover is again being completely redesigned from 2011 onwards. The brand shakes off the dust from its Britishness and gives itself a modern, cool look, which is rolled out in the following years on all series.
The Evoque is the first Range Rover, which is also available without all-wheel drive, according to the SUV timing and customer requirements. In spite of this concession, the all-wheel-drive variants show a distinctive off-road talent.
Verdict
Compared to the direct competition, the Land Rover Evoque is not only a class in itself in terms of style and well-being; even when it compares to the most luxurious and top class cars with all-wheel-drive. The engines available are powerful, quiet and the consumption is still acceptable.
