Toyota is a well known Japanese vehicle maker and has its headquarters based in Japan in Aichi. 2014, According to the 2014, it is the world’s twelfth-largest company by revenue. The 2012 statistics show that the Toyota is recorded as the largest automobile manufacturer. By the revenue and by the market capitalization the vehicle was the largest company in Japan.
The company was established by the Kiichiro Toyoda in 1937 as an offshoot. Actually it was established as a by-product of his father’s company Toyota Industries for producing automobiles. Three years back, around 1934. It built its first creation known as the Type A engine. Later in 1936 was released its first passenger car. It was named as the Toyota AA. The Toyota Motor Corporation builds cars with five brands such as Scion, Ranz, Lexus, Hino and the Toyota brand. Along with these brands it has a 0.27% stake in Tesla, a 51.2% stake in Daihatsu, a 5.9% stake in Isuzu, a 16.66% stake in Fuji Heavy Industries.
There are some joint-ventures too such as one in India known as Toyota Kirloskar, two in China known as Sichuan FAW Toyota Motor and GAC Toyota, one in the Czech Republic (TPCA), and also TMC considered as the largest conglomerates in the world. Toyota has numerous factories in many parts of the world. These companies are producing and also assembling for the local markets in 27 countries such as Russia, the Philippines, Venezuela, Vietnam, China, Egypt, Pakistan, Thailand, Malaysia, Mexico, Czech Republic, Argentina, Portugal, Brazil, France, the United States, the United Kingdom, Colombia, Turkey, South Africa, Poland, Indonesia, Canada, Sri Lanka, India, Australia and Japan.
Lexus is categorized as a Luxury Vehicle of the Japanese based automaker Toyota. It was first released in 1989 in the United States of America. It has now become a world known and the largest-selling Japanese automaker brand of the Premium class. The Lexus Marque is projected in more than seventy countries and different regions worldwide. It is recorded as the ten largest Japanese global brands when it comes to the market value. The headquarter is based in Nagoya, Japan while the operational centers are established in the Belgium, Brussels, California, Torrance and the United States.
Lexus stemmed from a concealed flagship sedan project. It was code-named as F1. It was initiated in 1983 and was ready with the release of the Lexus LS in 1989. Afterwards, the branch included the SUVs, Coupe, Convertible and Sedan models.
The Lexus was released in its home market in Japan in 2005. Those cars from 1989-2005 that were released and marketed in international markets as Lexus were released in Japan as Toyota Marque. In 2005, the Rx crossover that is a hybrid model was launched and later on there were many other hybrid models included in the range.
In 2007, Lexus released its F marque performance section with the release of the ISF sports sedan. From the very beginning, the Lexus cars have always been manufactured in Japan. The first Lexus was assembled outside the country. After a reorganization based on the Corporate level from 2001 to 2005, Lexus managed its engineering, designing and manufacturing centers.
