The concept development of the make was conducted by the corporation around 2007 and then final product was released from the assembly line in 2011. Thereafter the changes bought were marked as the SEMA concepts, turbo coupe, 2012 SEMA concepts, C3 roll top concept, veloster RE:MIX, zombie survival and Veloster RE:FLEX edition.
Chassis
The similarities that auris and veloster have include six speed transmission, manual exchange rate, independent front suspension, lead traction and ventilated discs. The difference in chassis is in terms of front tires, rear tires, wheelbase length, car handling and grip and spare wheel. The engine parameters are approximately measured for both cars and are: displacement 1598 cc auris and 1591 cc veloster, horse power generation 132 auris and 140 veloster, torque performance 160 auris and 167 veloster, compression ration 10 for auris and 11 for veloster.
Engine Specifications
The engine features and specifications are of crucial importance for the customers and facilitate the purchase decision to a great extent. Toyota auris has 138 g/km of CO2 emission, 7.9 liters urban consumption, 4.8 liters extra urban consumption, 50 liters fuel tank capacity and 4.75% VRT. Hyundai veloster, on the other hand, have 148 g/km CO2 emissions, 8.1 liters urban consumption, 5.3 extra urban consumption, 50 liters fuel tank capacity and 4.75% VRT.
Standard and Optional Specifications Comparison
Finest quality material, trims and finishing are used by makers of both the cars. The equipment is offered as standard and optional to pursue customization preferred by certain customers. The equipment for auris and veloster includes frontal airbags, anchors ISOFIX, automatic brake system, traction control system, fog lights, air conditioning system, rear power windows, metallic exterior body shades, spare wheel and aluminum wheels. The biggest difference arises in terms of price; veloster is highly priced as compared to Toyota auris models and versions.
