Overview of Suzuki Carry
The Suzuki Carry is one of the most powerful Kei truck manufactured and marketed by the Japanese automobile manufacturing company Suzuki. The Microvan Suzuki Carry was first offered in the Japanese domestic market in 1982 and renamed as the Suzuki Every. In the Japanese market, The Carry and Every vehicles are from Kei class car but there is also a bigger version of Suzuki every which is called Every Landy. This bigger version of the car has a longer hood for more safety purpose as well as a 1.3-liter 86 hp (63 kW) and four-cylinder engine sold in different countries under different nameplate.
Engine Specifications
The very first version of Carry truck was offered with 2-door pickup and 3 or 4-door van along with the engine of 359 cc FB two-stroke I2 and based on the FMR layout. The second and third generations also came with the same engine and based on the same platform whereas the dimensions of both generations have changed and modified. Four generation offered with the bigger wheelbase of 1,745 mm (68.7 in) with same 359 cc FB two-stroke I2 engine and the body style offered in this generation was a 5-door van and 2-door pickup truck. The fifth generation offered with two type of engine the one was carried from the previous generation and the second one was new: 359 cc L50 two-stroke I2 and 596 cc L60 two-stroke I2 engines. Sixth Generation came with 539 cc LJ50 two-stroke I3 and 797 cc F8A I4 engine and the seventh generation of the car comes with front mid-engine and rear-wheel-drive or four-wheel-drive with three different engine choices; 539 cc LJ50 two-stroke I3, 543 cc F5A I3 and 797 cc F8A I4. Moreover, the eighth and ninth generations have a wide range of engine selection.
Features of Suzuki Carry Truck
The features range of the truck includes radio cassette with 2 speakers, engine immobilizer, air conditioning and metallic paint on the exterior. Interior features a comfortable seating and a lot of room for passengers. Moreover, front suspension is MacPherson strut, coil spring and rear suspension is the rigid axle, leaf spring.
