The Japanese automaker Subaru owns the Subaru Pleo cars since 2010. These vehicles are labeled as kei cars which mean small vehicles in Japan. In comparison to other Kei cars hatchbacks, Pleo is taller. The Pleo has launched four upgrades ever since it’s launching in 1998.
The First Generation
On October 9, 1998 the first-generation Pleo went on sale in Japan. It replaced the Vivio due to the dictation regarding the size change in the Kei car tax bracket came from Japanese regulations. OEM-contracted by Daihatsu produced the second generation Subaru Pleo. In comparison to first generation the car developed gradually from a compact minivan in the hatchback. The second generation also saw the car became lower height (1530 mm). The height of the car became lower (1530 mm) in the second generation.
