These engines are much powerful, bigger and efficient with increased torque and horsepower. Some cars also have upgraded new Vulcan II G23B engine featuring lean burn MCA-Jet emission control system. It also attached with aluminum rocker arms, hemispherical head and three valves per cylinder.

Models of all used fourth generations have two-speed semi-automatic gearbox and standard four-speed manual transmission. However, the fifth edition is a front wheel drive vehicle with front engine offering three-and-five door configurations, coil spring/torsion beam rear suspension and increased size. The sixth generation has advanced new turbo engine to augment the fuel economy and fuel emission. The engines are mated as double overhead cams and world’s initial mass-produced 5-valve/cylinder engine. Though the last and eighth generation comes with 657 cc 3-cylinder and 4-valves per cylinder turbocharged engines.
