The Mercedes C 320 was launched in the second generation of Mercedes Benz C class as a top model of the mid range series with two choices of engine either gasoline or diesel. The gasoline engine of the car was started producing in 2000; originally as a sedan, later it was also offered as a combi version of the car with V6 engine with the power rating of 160 kW and 218 hp. Moreover, the Mercedes Benz C320 is the top mid class version of diesel engine.

The Mercedes-Benz E-class is a line of mid size luxury and executive car which was manufactured and marketed by the famous German automobile company Mercedes-Benz since 1993. The car was first offered with front engine and rear wheel drive or four wheel drive option.

The engine offered in Mercedes-Benz C 320 offered with 3.2 liters V6 engine with the maximum torque of 310 Nm @ 3000rpm and maximum power of 160kW @ 5700rpm and 5-speed automatic Tipshift transmission. Whereas the engine offered in Mercedes E320 is 3.2 liters V6 cylinder, 5 speed sequential automatic transmission maximum torque of 315 Nm @ 3000rpm and maximum power of 165kW @ 5600rpm.
