When it comes to appearance Toyota Rav4 is less impressive than Mazda Cx5 however Toyota is more practical car despite of its lesser tow rating. Long story short interior and exterior styling is not as attractive as Mazda.

Here Mazda takes the lead and has dramatic killer application; the head-up display while the Toyota displace is touch less but has modern equipment. Moreover, Toyota has pretty neat 3D 360-degree camera which is a clear step by Toyota even though its use is pretty limited.

In a nutshell, both cars have its own strength and weaknesses; Rav4 generates slightly less power than Mazda Cx5, however the transmission of Toyota is way smoother than Mazda as well as the gear changes more smoothly and bit more naturally. Both of the cars are available as a used car in the markets.
