Overview of Lexus RX300
Lexus RX300 and Toyota Highlander both almost seem like twins, even though Lexus RX is a Mid-Size Station Wagon and Toyota Highlander is a Sport Utility Vehicle, both of these vehicles have a lot in common mechanically and overall look wise as both have the same sporty stylish type looks. Both vehicles are four-wheel drive that is best for family and single use. Both vehicles have five doors with 4 doors in sides and one door on the rare. The earlier models of these two cars were almost the same but the recent models are a lot more different then each other.

Interior
As far as the interior goes both of these five seat vehicles have a capacity to seat four to five passengers at once providing decent leg and arm space for each. Both of these vehicles have a decent amount of space in the rare where you can keep your luggage and other stuff. However, the Toyota model is latest and the RX looks more cutting edge as compare to Toyota Highlander. Rx have a remote touch screen system which is very advance as compare to the simple touch screen system that Toyota Highlander possess. The biggest interior difference in these two is the third row seat that the highlander has hidden inside. Both vehicles are actually very comfortable with decent air cooling system and safety features ensuring a safe and comfy ride.
Exterior
The old models of these two cars were almost identical; however the more recent models have changed dramatically and now look a lot different. Another different in these two is the roof of Lexus which is a slight angular as compare to Highlander. Both have four-wheel that provide good road grip and both have a smooth outer surface. If you look at the overall design Toyota is slight larger and provide more room then RX but beside these few details both vehicles are great and reliable.
Specifications
The engine type of Lexus Rx is Gas V6 that can provide up to 220 @ 5800 horse power where Highlander have a Gas l4 type engine that provide around 155 @ 5600 horsepower, however both of these vehicles have the fuel tank capacity of 19.8 gallons.
Fuel Consumption
The fuel consumption for Lexus Rx is 19 to 23 where the fuel economy for Toyota Highlander is slight higher at 22 to 27.
