The name Alfa Romeo Giulietta is initially associated with a series that marked the beginning of modern auto production in large series at Alfa in the mid-1950s. The first Giulietta was a coupé drawn by Bertone, which established the tradition of the series in 1954.
A year later, the Giulietta followed as a four-door sedan and in one version as an open two-seater. The Cabriolet was designed by the Pininfarina and became the precursor of the classic Alfa Romeo Spider, in 1959; Alfa Romeo underwent the Giulietta of a facelift, which brought a complex chrome front design with it.
