The Toyota Sera is a 2+2 couple hatchback designed and manufactured by Toyota from 1990 to 1995. Initially produced and launched for the Japanese market, the car attracted a lot of attention overseas and since has been a major import item to lots of countries.
Toyota Sera Specs
Toyota Sera is a 2 door coupe with front wheel drive. The engine Sera is 4 valves per 4 cylinders with a double overhead camshaft. The maximum capacity of torque generated is 131 Nm at 5200 rpm and 81 kW / 111 ps at 6400 rpm. The Toyota Sera also has the electronic fuel injection (EFI) fuel system. The transmission is manual 5-speed. The fuel tank has a volume of 40 liters. Ventilated disks are installed on the brakes. Rear brakes are equipped with servo assistance drums.
Toyota Sera Features
The most distinctive feature of the Toyota Sera is the butterfly doors, which opens forward and goes atop the roof of the car like to McLaren F1. A thick gas bar supports the weight of the door. In changing temperatures inside the door, a balancing system takes control of things. In a quite limited space, the door can open fully that is on either side a clearance of 35m dissimilar to the conservative doors on most cars.

It’s a 2+2 coupe hatchback. In front, there are bucket seats. Rear seat is equipped with fixed central armrest. The front seats are able to bend and slide forward to make room for the rear. Despite a compact interior, the deep-form fitting rear seat design allows enough passenger space at the back. All the versions of the Toyota Sera have 3 points harnesses on the front seats whereas the rear seats arrive in either 2 or 3 point lap sashes harnesses depending on the model
