Comparison of Mazda Premacy and Honda Stream
The first thing that comes in mind when we talk about these two cars is that they both are pretty alike in a lot of ways. The only real difference between these two is small details that usually confuse the buyers. Both of these vehicles have the similar five door and both are froth wheel dominant. Mazda Premacy have the engine of Mazda installed which consist of four cylinders, where the Honda Stream have the same four Honda style cylinders that provide this car enough torque and power.
Interior
Both vehicles are a typical five door drive with smooth mini-van type look, Both Honda Stream and Mazda Premacy has a passenger capacity of six providing plenty of space for leg and arms. Each seat is made with comfortable material and has a seat belt attach to it. Both cars have four average side windows with one front windshield and one window in the back. Honda Stream and Mazda Premazy both have a decent air cooling system; the gear system is manual for Mazda Premacy but Honda Stream has a 5 gear automatic system.
Exterior
The outer surface of both of these mini vans are rather smooth and shiny, the manufactures have given both of these vehicles decent yet stylish look. The wheel base for Honda Stream is 2720 mm with the 195/65 R15 wheel size, where the wheel base of Mazda Premacy is 2670 mm with the wheel size of 185/65 R14 86T. The height of Honda Stream is 1590mm with the with width of 1695mm where Mazda Premacy stand at 1600mm height and 1705 width. Both cars have a MVP style five door body frame and both come in variety of colors.
Safety Features
As far as the safety goes (Euro NCAP) association did some safety testing on both of these vehicles. The good news is that both vehicles passed that test with flying colors, however Honda Stream did slight better then Mazda Premacy on the scores. Beside the actual crash test results there are many other factors that we can’t ignore when it comes to safety. Both vehicles are MPV style vans which is considered good as far as safety goes, both have air bags with enough protective body armor. Both of these vehicles are proven to be a safe and sound choice.
Fuel Consumption
Honda Stream and Mazda Premacy both of these car runs on petrol however the Honda is a slight better choice with the fuel consumption of 7.7 l/100 km, where Mazda Premacy average fuel consumption is around 8.0 litres/100km.
