BMW Series 1 has appeared to be a potential choice for those who want to enjoy the perks of maximum interior benefits but in small size. Various cars in the series 1 of BMW since 2004 have helped consumers to enjoy the luxurious performance and interior features within a small cabin and small price as well. Though used BMW 120i price will go above $3000, there are specifications in these cars that will make you think twice before you may jump on the other choices. The classic BMW expertise can be tasted in the exterior designs and interior specification that are set very tactfully to make a difference. As we had our eyes set on BMW 120i specs when it was viewed in the used car collection, here it is presented for you.
Design
There has been conflict about the design of the BMW 120i however we found it enticing as far as it was able to supply reduced exterior size and comfy interior space. Broad in waist design separates it from what is uniform in the Japanese Kei cars. The roofline is low but no so much that it could make the passengers uncomfortable. The interiors in both cabins of the car has a homely comfort with every set position for the driver but the rear passenger may follow a little difficulty on the bumpy roads due to low roofline. Since the console is limited, the front door pockets are provided to cover it. The boot area seems boxy but is slightly larger than what is standard in these cars.
Interiors
The adjustable seats are the beginning of the definition of comfort. Other than that the lumbar support is optional. The seats offer comfort during drives and stays. The slide option is available for the driver under thigh.
The easy to used dashboard of the BMW has noticeably large gauges with ventilation and entertainment options available in the middle. The other audio functions are available on the steering. The other switched are on the column that is fixed on the downside. On the steering besides audio controls there is a recirculation and air conditioning control available as well.
The push entry is another benefit that works fine with one click on a remote control.
BMW 120i Performance
The ride and acceleration work fine with this engine configuration. The six speed manual transmission is very much suitable for long drives inside the city. The car doesn’t show its best traits on highways. The brake system allowed in BMW120i is very much responsive. This is usually a quiet car; the engine is loud only when it is put under hard acceleration.
The drive feel of this car is very much smooth and comfortable. The car’s grip on the road is a big comfort to the driver in all road conditions. Steering is mounted at a good position for the driver to have a good drive.
Safety
The safety features of the car are very comprehensive and the main reason for good performance of the car in several road tests. An ABS, DBC, EBFD, DSC, CBC, front and side air & curtain bags are the highlight of BMW 120i.
