Mitsubishi Lancer 2014

The Mitsubishi Lancer 2014, a particularly long history model and is produced since 1973. Meanwhile, the Lancer is the eighth generation and belongs to the compact class from Mitsubishi. It can be selected as the notchback, hatchback variant or combination and there are different body versions. Since 2008 it is a hatchback with five doors. The first Mitsubishi Lancer was a mixture of small cars and middle class. Particularly striking was the large round headlights and pronounced fender to this model. Engines with 1.2 to 1.6 liters were offered for this vehicle. In 1979, the second series came on the market. This design has been adapted to the European market. The Mitsubishi Lancer car shows a particularly shaped design with large angular headlights at the front and at the rear. In these years of production, but was sold only as a four-door notchback sedan. In 1983 the vehicle was in the third generation. While at the beginning only a notchback sedan with four doors was available, Mitsubishi has later opted for a combination. Optionally, the Lancer was even available with all-wheel drive and it was from this series catalysts. The sedan was discontinued in the fall of 1988; the station wagon was built with all-wheel drive until the end of 1990.

 

The fourth generation was built from 1988 to 1992 and offered as a step or hatchback. Externally, the new Lancer was almost indistinguishable from the third generation. In the field of engines, however, Mitsubishi upgraded to the units and are significantly more power. The fifth generation was presented in 1991 and lasted until 1996. Again, there were optically only small changes to its predecessor. The headlights were a little rounder and the front bumper seems to be very pronounced. For the grille is relatively small. In 1996, the fifth generation, this was built just two years. Significantly optical changes were in the seventh and eighth generation. A technical facelift brings a better level of equipment and a more comfortable interior with it. The model also shows a very strong downward line of the bonnet and sloping upwards square headlights. Thus, the Lancer receives a dynamic and very sporty look.
