Despite the difference of brands Honda and Toyota, the Toyota Windom and Honda inspire were produced with the luxury approach in the early 1990’s. And the luxury approach was enhanced with the top notch equipments of the day.
Based on the chassis of Camry, Toyota Windom was produced as a sedan with four doors and five seats. It came with front-wheel drive, power steering along with the automatic transmission, It was available in two basic models the 3.0G and the 3.0X and limited edition of the 3.0G, a 3.0-liter V6 engine and an electronic fuel injection system.
The four door sedan Honda Inspire was introduced with VGR (variable steering gear ratio) to provide modified and swift driving experiences for the customers. Moreover it was equipped with anti-lock brake system, brake assistance and electric brake distribution. It had either four-speed automatic or five-speed manual transmission.
The 2008 Honda inspire was released with a new sporty look on the exterior and from the inside with the features of a comfortable sedan car and was loaded with maximum luxury equipments such as 6 switch CD options on audio system, cell phone input jack, a DVD and CD player, TV/FM/AM tuner, and newest Honda HDD Inter-navi technique with rear photographic camera. The exterior was styled with bulging rear fenders, electric sunshades on the rear with exhaust pipe finishers on the exhaust pipes, high density discharge and headlights.
The safety features of Honda inspire include ISO FIX-attuned baby carrier, and a collision mitigation brake system and power seat belts.

The well equipped Toyota Windom lost its popularity and preference after the introduction of the Lexus ES that was produced with the chassis of Toyota Windom. Toyota Windom production ended in 2005 whereas Honda Inspire continued to be produced till 2013. Honda kept on improving the inspire with the introduction of "CMBS", Adaptive Cruise Control, HDD navigation, Adaptive Cruise Control, called IHCC and the telematics services “Internavi” of Honda made it the best pick by the customers.
