Volkswagen Touareg 2004 - The Real Luxury SUV

The Volkswagen Touareg is a luxury SUV manufactured by German automaker Volkswagen. It was first introduced in 2002 after a joint venture project initiated by Volkswagen group, Porsche and Audi. The aim was to produce a vehicle for a rough terrain that could hold on the ground like a sports car.


Due to the environmental policies in the USA and the difference between Euro rates against the Dollar, the v6 and v8 engines were the most demanded vehicles. In 2004, there were a small number of V10 TDI Turbocharged Direct Injection (TDI) diesel engines available as more environmentally safe.


Volkswagen Touareg 2004 is a four door having capacity of 5, a very well furnished and equipped SUV with a mountain-goat attitude. It is hard and tough and is serious about surviving on the rough roads. Compared with other SUVs it is less noisy.


The Touareg come with electronically controlled all-wheel-drive systems and a locking center differential. Compared to Acura MDXs, the exterior dimensions are a bit smaller where as the interior is roomy with no third row seating. The second row seating has as easy entry and exit. With lots of passenger room it comes with maximum cargo volume with cargo cover, Cargo light, Cargo light.


For adventurous rides the Touareg has numerous interventions to control traction and shock damping.
