With new environmentally friendly technologies - such as the automatic start-stop function the engine is idling - emits Atlas with this aggregate ten percent less nitrogen oxides and diesel soot particles as it set the valid values in Japan. Thus, the new commercial vehicle runs in the category "Low Emissions Heavy Vehicle". Whether the Nissan Atlas 2013 is offered in the future on the European market has not been determined.

Low Maintenance Cost, Comfortable and Maximum Ease of Use

The Nissan Atlas 2013 is completely redesigned and light truck. The vehicle was built after the cab-over principle commercial vehicle is in its home market of Japan. The truck combines a comfortable and functional interior with exceptional maneuverability and low maintenance costs.

The new edition is characterized, among other things, by the smallest turning circle in its class, and the first use of an automated mechanical transmission with 6 switching stages in a Nissan vehicle. The automated manual transmission combines an electronic controller with a conventional manual gearbox and relieves the driver, particularly in dense city traffic from troublesome coupling and uncoupling.

Hill Start Assist

In addition, the commercial vehicle has the "Easy Hill Start" system, Hill Start Assist, which when starting on a hill rollback even when fully loaded vehicle prevented.
