AUDI SPORTBACK CONCEPT 2009

The Audi Sportback concept was released in 2009 at the Detroit Auto Show. It is charged with a 3.0-litre V6 TDI diesel engine. It was equipped with a 7-speed S-tronic transmission, five-link front suspension, rear floating-caliper brakes, ceramic brake discs and continuous damping control shock absorbers.

TYPE 4G 2010

The Audi A7 is built on the Volkswagen Group MLB platform also used by the fourth-generation (C7) 2012 Audi A6. This Audi A7 type 4G was released in 2010 at the art museum and afterwards it was released at the Paris Motor Show in 2010 and at the New York Auto Show in the Wörthersee Tour in 2011.

The sale of the vehicle initiated in 2010. The 2011 year A7 has FlexRay high speed databus for controlling the various driver assistance systems. The vehicle includes active lane assist and head-up display. Other notable features are Audi adaptive light(Xenon), Automatic high beam, LED headlamps and variable headlight range control.

AUDI S7 (2012–)

Audi A7 launched a new version named as the S7 charged with a 4.0 biturbo TFSI V8 engine. It is equipped with a 7-speed S Tronicgearbox. It was released in 2011 at the Frankfurt Auto Show. Later it was displayed in 2012 at the Audi quattro Cup. The sale initiated in 2012.

MARKETING

To promote Audi A7 a marketing campaign was initiated. It was based on promotion the vehicle in association with the London advertising agency bbh. In the US a paper crafted model 2012 Audi A7 was displayed and in us a super bowl commercial was released to promote the S7

2012 UPDATE

In the UK market a A7 3.0 TDI quattro was included while the initial models from Germany have variety of engines such as A7 2.8 FSI, 3.0 TFSI quattro, 2.8 FSI quattro, 3.0 TDI quattro, 3.0 TDI, 3.0 and TDI clean diesel quattro. The A7 3.0 TDI clean diesel quattro was revealed in 2012 at the Los Angeles Auto Show. The US model A7 3.0 TDI clean diesel quattro was ready for sale in 2013.

A7 SPORTSBLACK EDITION

For the UK market a model of a7 was released. It included black grille, the window frame strips, number plate surrounds, 21-inch rotor-design alloy wheels, sports seats upholstered in black Valcona leather, BOSE audio system and extended privacy glass. The S series include Audi drive select adaptive dynamics system, light and rain sensors, Xenon all-weather headlights, satellite navigation, LED rear lights, Audi parking system plus, adaptive dynamics system, a powered retractable rear spoiler and electrically adjustable front seats. The sales of the vehicle initiated in 2012.

RS 7 2013

It was released in 2013 at the North American international auto show. The standard features offered on the specification list are MMI navigation plus, footrest, power extending spoiler, adaptive air suspension and electronic stabilization control while the optional features are a comfort package, the dynamic package and exterior mirrors with exposed carbon housings. All these cars are available in reasonable prices.
