Fuel Consumption
There is no car owner who do not care about the fuel consumption of his/her car. 10 liters of fuel per hundred kilometers is the considered to be the average in cars.
If the fuel consumption of a car is less than 10 liters, then it is considered good, and if it is higher than it needs to be fixed.
In the last few years, fuel consumption of about 6 liters per 100 km is considered optimal from the point of view of the economy. The fuel consumption of the Mitsubishi Daimante ranges from 4.3 liters to 11.6 liters per 100 kilometers. Mitsubishi Diamante is produced with both a premium Gasoline engine and regular Gasoline.
Fuel Tank Capacity
The most common volumes of fuel tanks that cars usually provide are 40, 50, 60 and even 70 liters. You can tell how huge the car is by judging the capacity of the tank it provides. If the car provides a 30-liter capacity tank, it is most likely that the car is small. However, 50 to 60 liters considered a strong average. On the other hand, 70 liters indicates it’s a full-sized vehicle.
The volume of the fuel tank would be a useless value, if not for fuel consumption. Knowing the average fuel consumption, you can easily calculate how many kilometers you can run for a full fuel tank. The capacity of the fuel tank of the Mitsubishi Diamante is from 70 to 72 liters which is quite a lot.
Engine Capacity
It is considered that the larger the engine is, the more powerful the vehicle. It makes no sense to install a small Cuban motor into a large size car, the engine simply cannot cope with the size of the car, it is also pointless to install a huge size and great power engine into a small sized car.
The more expensive and impressive the vehicle, the greater the volume of the engine on it and the more powerful it is. The Mitsubishi Diamante comes with the engine range from 2.0 liters to 3.0 liters and provides the output from 125 hp to 270 hp. The volume of the engine is expressed in cubic centimeters or in liters.
Transmission
The Mitsubishi Diamante is offered with both automatic transmission as well as manual transmission. The automatic transmission costs more since it provide comfort in the driving and driver does not get nervous in a traffic jam.
