Volkswagen New Beetle 2010

2010 Volkswagen New Beetle  is a less typical means of transportation. It has a shape based on a bug called beetle. This unusual shape of the car has resulted in an unbalanced interior design. The curved roof makes huge headroom on the front but the rear seat is almost unusable. Other drawback of the curved roof design is the blind spots on the windshield pillars. Volkswagen is celebrating this form of car with a limited edition model that is offered in only one color that is Aquarius Blue.

PERFORMANCE

The five cylinder engine produces good acceleration. Though the engine power of Volkswagen New Beetle is good but it is not good on gas as fuel, it has got 20/29 mpg city/highway. It is also liked for its strong brake and direct steering.

NOTICABLE FEATURES

It has received too much attention for its looks too. The interior is designed with quality material. The front seats have enough legroom for heighted passengers as well but the rear seats are cramped. The base beetle is available with appropriate cargo space but the convertible one is available with only an insignificant cargo space of about 5 cubic feet.

The blue instrument light in the shape of a cornflower is comfortable at night and day. Because of the height-adjustable seats and doomed shape roof, there is extraordinary space in the front of the car letting the tallest occupants sit freely. The New Beetle Red Rock Edition offered on the coupe includes black-painted roof, Red Rock paint, fog lamps and 17-inch alloy wheels. The final addition with Aquarius Blue is available on both body styles.

INTERIOR

The New Beetles seats give you the most comfy and secured feel with its side, back and thigh support for the driver seat as well as the passenger. The arched shape roof adds to the generous front-seat headroom but leaving the rear seat passengers with little space.

EXTERIOR

The 2010 Volkswagen New Beetle replicates the most popular automobile exterior of the word; the shape of the beetle. With affordable price it is amazingly comprehensive. It has secured very good crash test outcome. The low ground of beetle is problematic on badly paved roads and areas with deep snow.
The 2010 New Beetle is curtailed to a single trim with only a few options offered.
