The new 2015 Volkswagen Beetle is categorized as a two-door hatchback offered in two body styles such as coupe and convertible body styles with three different models. The available engines on the vehicle are 1.8T, R-Line and TDI.

STANDARD AND OPTIONAL FEATURES

The standard features offered on the new beetle are leatherette seating, Bluetooth connectivity, power windows and locks, eight-speaker sound system, A/C, USB/AUX input jacks, cruise control and 17-inch alloy wheels. The sportier R-Line model is offered with 18-inch Twister alloy wheels, sports seats, a rear spoiler and faux-aluminum pedals. The range-topping R-Line has LED daytime running lamps, bi-xenon headlamps, 19-inch Tornado alloy wheels, stainless steel sills, leather-wrapped steering wheel and a chrome vanadium panel for the dashboard. Depending on the models the optional features offered are SiriusXM Satellite Radio, a multi-function trip computer, a keyless entry system, a rear-view camera, leather seating, a touchscreen navigation system, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a panoramic sunroof and a Fender premium audio system.

INTERIOR

The 2015 VW Beetle has driven impressions from flower-power model sharing the features, construction and controls with other Volkswagens. The optional navigation is less practical with its small screen whereas the premium Fender sound system has remarkable sound quality. Having a low roofline does not make it an uncomfortable vehicle. It has ample room even for tall drivers with comfortable front and rear seats.

PACKAGES

It is offered in four different packages such as the Sunroof package also known as the technology package on the convertible, the Beetle R-Line, the R-Line Sunroof and Sound package, the R-Line Sunroof and Sound package.

PREMIUM PACKAGE

The premium package is made available on the cars that have 1.8-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine or the TDI. The TDI models that have package are available with mirror caps, grey door sills, 18-inch alloy wheels, fog lights and R-Line bumpers. Other upgraded features include rain-sensing wipers, automatic bi-xenon headlights, satellite radio, an auto-dimming rear-view mirror, automatic climate control, model-specific seats, and Fender-designed sound system.

LIMITED-EDITION BEETLE CLASSIC

The limited-Edition Beetle Classic is offered with a model-specific cloth upholstery on the seats, navigation, a six-speed automatic transmission, 17-inch alloy wheels offered in black or white, three-color ambient lighting and leather upholstery on the steering wheel and the shift knob.

LIMITED-EDITION GSR

For those excited about buying a sporty Beetle should opt for GSR. It is made available with either a six-speed manual gearbox or a six-speed automatic. Other available features include 19-inch Tornado alloy wheels, sunroof and the Beetles Sound package is available as a standard feature. For more options there are models that can be made available with the vehicle’s Car-Net infotainment system. It has many features like speed and boundary alerts, vehicle access, crash notification, stolen vehicle location assistance and roadside assistance.

SAFETY

The new beetle is available with combination side/curtain airbags, dual front airbags. Stability control systems, traction control, and an Intelligent Crash Response System. The new 2015 four-passenger Volkswagen Golf is highly designed with functional interior. It is loaded with powerful turbocharged engines. With all the inspiring features available it has slow responsiveness on the TDIs DSG transmission and R-Line.
