The Audi A7 Sportback is a coupe sedan with four doors and a sleek rear, which was designed for the beauties in the business class. Technically closely related to the Audi A6, it closes the gap to the flagship Audi A8 at the price and is also a response to similar models such as the Mercedes-Benz CLS or the BMW 6 Series Gran Coupé.
Engine Specifications
At first, the A7 had a relatively wide range of engines. But with a view to the forthcoming generational change, Audi has significantly reduced the offer and eliminated all conventional petrol engines from the program. There are now still five variants of the 3.0-liter V6 diesel from the particularly economical model ultra with 190 hp (standard consumption 4.7 liters) to the competition with 326 hp.
But if you want a petrol engine, you have to grab the S7 with 450 hp strong V8 engine or RS7 performance. There the 4.0-liter engine produces 605 hp. Manual transmissions are no longer available for the A7. The dual-clutch or automatic transmission is switched on and the all-wheel drive standard is used for most of the engine variants.
Price Range
Since there are no four-cylinder and no petrol engines without sport badges, the prices for the Audi A7 Sportback now start at 54,800 euros for a 3.0 TDI with 190 hp and a seven-speed double clutch transmission, which is a good ten percent above a comparable A6. Cheapest petrol is the 450 hp strong S7 Sportback for 84,300 euros and at the top of the price list is the RS7 performance with 605 hp and a basic price of 123.180 euros.
Technology
The first generation of the A7 was introduced in 2010 and anticipated the model change of the A6. Because of the unconventional shape of the car, Audi had a much smaller number than the A6 or A8, and the Bavarians were able to experiment with a few new technologies.
The A7 was the first Audi to be equipped with a head-up display and could already be ordered at an additional price with LED headlights. On board there was the infotainment system of the Audi A8 including touchpad on the center tunnel as well as a comfortable air suspension. Used Audi A7 for sale can be found at the most reasonable price with great features and low mileage in pretty well maintained condition.
