Versatile Minivan

The minivan Honda Stepwagon was first debut in 1996, a minivan in wagon version, which is available instead of eight seats then seven. The 1997 version of Honda Stepwagon comes with standard equipments such as ABS and front passenger airbags. The first series was equipped with a gasoline engine and brought up to 92 kW. Newer designs create up to 113 kW. The fourth generation of Stepwagon is significantly larger and higher than its predecessors and is offered in nine variants. It is available with front wheel drive or all-wheel drive to buy. A 2.0 l petrol engine is installed in this version.


An Opponent From Home: the Honda Odyssey

The model is available with six or seven seats, and only petrol engines are used. Modern designs bring the sporty version up to 200 hp. Optionally, for a manual gearbox or an automatic gearbox. Standard in Honda Odyssey are air conditioning and heated seats. Both minivans are available in various versions as well-maintained used cars.


Latest Generation of Honda Stepwagon

The fifth generation of Honda Stepwagon is the latest generation which was first debut in April 2015 and still in production in Japan. The WGN has got a latest new power unit and offered in 1.5 liters instead of 2.0 liters VTEC along with turbo charging which is first application ever in Honda lineup. Honda claims that the return of this is much similar to the atmospheric 2.4 liters engine.

The interior of the Honda Stepwagon is very airy and roomy. Among many perks of this minivan Honda says the Honda Stepwagon has the most spacious interior in its class. The third seat can fold in half on 60:40 ratio to get a flat floor trunk that gives a very spacious trunk space for a number of luggage. The second row of seats has equipped with two separate armchairs for third passenger depending on the configuration. The salon can accommodate around eight people that include the driver.

 

Features

A very significant addition in the list of WGN feature is a complex Honda sensing security system. It has a very unique feature which is the radar fitted on the front that not only detect the pedestrians but also objects in front plus the monocular camera at the top of the windscreen can easily sense exact parameters of any object.
