Used Dodge Charger: High Performance Vehicle Available For Sale In Reasonable Price

The Muscle Car – Dodge Charger

When it was first introduced in the market, soon it becomes the muscles car are popular due to its sports features and looks. In the acquisition more favorable than a sports car and in the proportions for American conditions rather compact, the Muscle car were characterized above all by their fast-paced V8 engines and their large displacement volume, which could be easily enlarged with some tuning knowledge.

High Sporty Profile

This makes the Dodge Charger an ideal road and track racing model. With the Charger, the Super Bee or Challenger presented shortly afterwards, Dodge took up a whole series of Sport coupés in its program and thereby ensured that the Dodge brand within the Chrysler group got a sporty profile.

The Dodge Charger Throughout years

The first generations of the Dodge Charger, especially the top model Charger R / T offered with its decorative tires, embodied with their continuous radiator grille and their increasingly racing-car-like shaping of the Muscle Cars. The models up to the year 1972 are therefore not only sale in the USA, but also in Europe by the lovers of this genre.

The 1970s for Dodge Charger

The first half of the 1970s, however, marked both the peak and the end of a vehicle event. Hemi engines with 7.0 liters displacement proved to be increasingly untimely and too expensive to maintain. In addition, the passionate Muscle Car fans became older and more comfortable.

Dodge responded with increasingly tame motorized coupés, which, however, in their interior equipment, more and more resembled the great luxury sports coupés. But the sales figures decreased, and with the year 1978 company decided to run the production of the Dodge Charger as Sports coupé in favor of the Dodge Magnum.

V8 Engine in the Charger

Only in the year 2005 the manufacturer presented again after nearly twenty years a new model under the old name Charger. In this generation, however, the four-door sedan, which now had the typical modern Dodge face with the high cooler element, was reminiscent of the Chrysler 300C, with which this Charger shared the construction platform. The sporty past reminded the engine power of the top model Dodge Charger SRT, in which again a V8 engine was installed with 317 kW (431 HP).

Verdict

The Dodge Charger is luxurious, reliable and much more than a sports car with a reasonable price in the used car market.
