Engine and Performance

There are four different engine variants available for the X3 version of 2011 and more which are currently available. Two 3.0-liter petrol engines can achieve an output of 190 kW to 225 kW, both 2.0- and 3.0-liter diesel variants can only offer with 135 kW and 190 kW. Like most SUVs the X3 is also not necessarily economical for the performance offered: 8.8 to 9.0 liters consumed fuel gasoline engine, with a diesel engine will be 5.6 to 6.0 liters per 100 kilometers. The 3-liter gasoline engine and the 2- and 3-liter diesel are also available with xDrive.
