Toyota Starlet - The Initial Generations

The 1970s models that were the first ones of the generation came as a 1000 CC and 1200 CC engine. It had more of a Corolla look, though the size was short. The different car bodies available include 2 door coupe, 4 door sedan and 3 door station wagon. The end of the era brought in 3 and 5 door hatchback with the 5 door station wagon. The 1166 CC was also introduced for facilitation. The 1980s were the hatchback generation where 3 and 5 doors were only available. The 1300 CC and 1000 CC were only there with look having no frills at all.

The Ending Generations

Approximately a decade before its end, the used Toyota Starlet of today came as a 1300 CC and 1500 CC option with manual transmission of 4 speed and 5 speed respectively. The automatic transmission had 3 speed and 4 speed option to fully support. The GT Turbo was also introduced as a high performance model and the two limited editions were also there. The GT Limited and GT Advance were the two options having two tone paint scheme to support. The last generation brought in improvements in technology with strong suspension, high center AC outlet and much more.

The Toyota Starlet sales have increased in used car market over the years. This had lead to reduced price and economy.
