Toyota Opa is a Crossover Utility Vehicle that has the start of production in the year 2000. Initially it came as a 1.8L and was later followed by 2.0 L.  The Opa was expected to give competition to Honda Avancier, Nissan R’nessa and Mitsubishi RVR.  Though it came for a short tenure that did not generate the sales that was expected, but it was still able to make household name in short time.

The review shows the following things:

Toyota Opa Performance

For efficient performance the Toyota Opa brought in transmission shifter at the floor between front seats to the lower portion of dashboard. This provides enough space for front seat occupants. The engine is synchronized well with the length, width and height for volume efficiency. The smoothness is guaranteed because of the body size and weight synchronization.

Safety

The safety is maximized with the Anti-lock Braking System that becomes more efficient with Traction Control System. Together the Toyota Opa was smooth on road with slipping of wheel reduced to minimal. The traction was distributed in all wheel with over steering and understeering avoided to the maximum.
The nylon bags were also available that are called Air Bags. The front air bags were common in most trims, though the curtain sided ones also came in high trims. The vehicle structure has these air bags, while the driver airbags may be inside steering wheel.

Features

The features are fully loaded inside with the Power Steering for the maneuvering efficiently. The Power Window provided smooth transition of window with the ease with the seats to fully support the comfort. The seats are woven to fine level with the overall interior aura working to perfection. The color scheme that is used in high trims are mostly combination of light and dark colors with mixture of comfort and pleasure inside one.

It was a complete vehicle, but the sales were not able to meet the high benchmark set by Toyota.
