Toyota Opa came for a short tenure from 2000 to 2005 with five doors to support spaciousness. It competed in market with Honda Avancier, Mitsubishi RVR and Nissan R’nessa and allowed entry to rear areas from either front seats.


It was first shown in Tokyo Motor Show as a concept vehicle, which was later followed by 1.8L and 2.0L displacement. These were the only two displacements with length of approximately 4250 mm, width of 1695 mm and height of 1525 mm with weight being 1310 kg. As everything is perfected, so the performance gets better.

Secure Atmosphere

The atmosphere inside the Opa car is made secure enough that offered comfort and safety synchronized together. For comfort the color scheme is made soothing enough with seats made of material that gives cozy feeling to passengers. The temperature control is done with Air Conditioning making airflow managed to efficiency. The information on the driver side dashboard makes customers informed in a way that fuel consumption, mileage covered and tank temperature is in consideration.


The safety is at new level with Air Bags that have nylon material to protect human life in case of accident. The Anti-lock Braking system works with Traction Control to give better grip on road with wet and dry surfaces managed to perfection in terms of driving. The slip on road with over steering and under steering is almost reduced to zero.

Big Shot Look

It is a big vehicle in look as well. The exterior is huge enough bringing in facilities of SUV and sedan synchronized together. The colors of body include the most sold White color that is priced the lowest aside from the Black the most expensive color. The other colors include Red, Blue, Green and Beige that was a styling enhancer. Even as used car its look is a positive point. The Alloy Wheels and Roof Rail further gives tough look with support to tires and luggage carriage on outside facilitated to premium level.


Hence this short tenure car had specification worked well, though because of high sales expectation the Toyota discontinued operations in 2005.
