Toyota is a market leader in automobile manufacturing having a diversified portfolio to cater. One of the models included in the portfolio was Toyota Duet. The vehicle was manufactured in between 1998 to 2004 with the introduction of Daihatsu Boom as a replacement making the production of this vehicle stop. It came as a replacement of Daihatsu Charade and as according to customer it was an effective replacement.

The Engines
In the beginning, the two petrol engines available included the 1000 CC 3 cylinder engine and 1300 CC 4 cylinder one. The fuel consumption was low as the displacement supported less use of fuel. The horsepower improved over the year with rating of 49.6 mpg in 1300 CC and 51.4 mpg in 1000 CC respectively.
The Sports Version
There were two Rally cars versions available named as Rally 2 and Rally 4 with the number representing drives. The Rally models have the output increase to 108 bhp bringing in top speed up to 115 mph. The 4Track also known as 4WD outside Japan is the four wheel drive version which comes mostly in 1300 CC. The vehicle are purposed built that are ideal for competition and give class of experience.
The Styling
The year 2000 brought in restyling of the front with grille designed, having the extensively designed storage space and more luxurious appearance. This gave the look of millennium to Toyota Duet. The specifications to support the process included the Alloy Wheels for indirect support to tires, Roof Rail for additional luggage carriage and colors that were catchy enough. The colors that came in the vehicle included the Red, Blue, Green, Beige and Black on high price range with the White and Silver in low price range.
Toyota Duet is a hatchback with metal with all that makes it ideal for fun lovers.
