Four-Meter-Long Mini-Van From Subaru

The five-door and four-meter-long mini-van is mainly against established competitors like Opel Meriva, Hyundai ix20, Kia Venga, the Nissan Note, Renault Grand Modus and the brand new Toyota Verso S compete. With the latter it is even technically identical. For the automaker Toyota, which holds 16 per cent stake in Subaru, builds the Trezia in its Japanese factory in Iwate on the same production line as the Verso S. Both models vary in appearance only in the front and rear. "The front fenders, hood, headlights, grill and bumpers are specific parts of Subaru," says product manager Hiroki Matsueda. "We sent during the development of more than 100 designers to Toyota for this."
