The Subaru Impreza WRX STI model is offered with the same engine as was used in the previous model that is an EJ257 along with the dual AVCS. As a result of modifications to the ECU there is an increase in the power and the fuel economy has been improved.

The STI is apparently very similar to the WRX, but once given a closer look the differences are made clear with headlights that look like falcon eye, deeper front air intakes, oversized rear wing and burlier fenders. It is charged with a turbocharged 2.5-liter boxer four-cylinder. The only transmission offered is a slick-shifting six-speed manual. Its Multi-Mode Driver Controlled Center Differential sets a clear difference between the WRX STI and standard WRX. The manual mode offered allows the driver to choose one of six pre-selected center differential locking levels for making it suitable for various situations.

The STI model is offered in only two versions such as base and limited. The standard features on the base STI are heated exterior mirrors, a rearview camera, cruise control, Bluetooth connectivity, 18-inch alloy wheels and heated exterior mirrors, heated front seats and dual-zone automatic climate control. The limited edition had re-adjustable drivers seat, a moonroof, a moonroof and 18 inch alloy wheels. There is also an option package offered. The features available on the option package are keyless entry, a 7.0-inch touch screen, kardon sound system with all the features offered on the limited model of the vehicle.

Once it gets connected to the user’s bluetooth it allows access to Aha radio that finally allows you the right to go through many of the web content such as Rhapsody, MOG and Slacker.
