After the great success of the Peugeot 205 its successor got launch, the 206, not easy to get in its footsteps. It managed, however, to be several times the best-selling import model. Due to this model of Peugeot 2008 sales boosted from the previous year by almost 10 percent, PSA got a net profit of 334 million euros.
