Overview

The Nissan designers have succeeded in combining a spacious interior with slightly elevated seating position with an emotionally and dynamically acting body. The Note is both a sporty hatchback and a spacious compact MPV. Even if the Note is based on the same ground group as the Micra, its larger dimensions also qualify for use outside the city. With a wheelbase of 2.60 m and a length of 4.10 m it is closer to vehicles of the C-segment.


Long and Flat Car

nissan noteThe use of an extended version of the B-platform of the Renault-Nissan alliance gives the decisive space gain. To achieve the desired dynamic profile, the design team used an acute roof contour that reached its highest point above the B-pillar. The deliberately elevated belt line and exposed wheel arches provide a robust appearance, while the large glass surfaces emphasize the spaciousness of the interior. The trapezoidal 3rd side window reminds of the Nissan SUVs Murano and QASHQAI - in all 3 cases it leads to a very solid, almost triangular D-pillar.


Smoother Appearance

For the 2009 model year, the Note benefits from a new look, especially at the front end. A revised grill design, as well as a newly formed bumper and headlights, make the 5-seater now more polished, high-quality and overall adult car.


Exteriornissan note 2009

The new grill consists of 2 parallel, horizontal and dark colored struts that converge on a centrally placed Nissan brand logo. On the bottom, the grille mask is discreetly enclosed by a chrome clasp. The headlights - with two main heads - were given a more technical and even more transparent inner life. They are supplemented by a newly formed bumper, which makes the front look more robust. The area around the round shaped fog lamps was strongly shaped, at the same time the now slightly trapezoidal, lower cooling air inlet is enlarged.


Another distinctive feature of the very distinctive Nissan Note is the taillights that extend far into the roof. They are darker now - a subtle effort of the designers, to give the Note a higher quality look.


Interior Of Note 2009

In the interior of the Nissan Note 2009, the overall impression is enhanced by new and better coordinated colors as well as by the further increased quality of the fabrics and surfaces. A total of four interior trims are available for Note 2009.
