The Mitsubishi Pajero iO is a powerful mini SUV manufactured by Japanese vehicle manufacturer company Mitsubishi in 1999 as well as in 2007. The Pajero iO is derived from the Italian language that means “me”. According to the company the SUV is easy to get to know and very easy to drive with joy and the owner of car can easily get along with it.

There was no diesel variant of the small off-road vehicle: only two gasoline engines were available for the Mitsubishi off-roader: an engine with 84 kW / 114 hp (Pajero iO 1.8 Intense) and a slightly more powerful with 95 kW / 129 PS. The 1.8-liter version of the Mitsubishi Pajero iO was available in a three- and five-door design with permanent four-wheel drive. The 2.0 liter version of the off-road vehicle was delivered exclusively as a 5-door with SuperSelect 4WD (SS4-i).

The Japanese manufacture company put the focus more on practical SUV with traditional robust ladder frame construction and off-road four-wheel technology. The Mitsubishi Pajero iO is built as a three- and five-door. In the version with short wheelbase, the Pajero iO came to a total length of around 3.67 meters. The Mitsubishi Pajero iO was a four-seater with a wheelbase of 2.45 meters, barely four meters, and thus still remained significantly below the size of the manufacturers large off-road vehicles. By comparison, on the Pickup Mitsubishi L200 Pajero Sport came to 4.62 meters in length. Like the large off-road vehicles, however, the Pajero iO also had an all-wheel drive and off-road technology like a locking differential.


The Mitsubishi Pajero iO is Only Offered As Petrol

While the large SUVs of the Pajero family were also offered in different diesel versions in Europe, the manufacturer was content with the Mitsubishi Pajero iO with gasoline engines. Depending on the year of manufacture two 1.8 liter engines with up to 88 kW (120 hp) and a larger unit of the 2.0 liter displacement class were available, which gave the Pajero iO a power of up to 96 kW (130 hp).


Interior / Exterior

Both the interior and exterior of the car is classy and spacious and stylish. The detailed exterior makes the car more worthy and pure sports utility vehicle.
