Mercedes S350 - One The Best Luxury Sedans

The Mercedes-Benz S-Class is designated as a succession of full-size luxury sedans manufactured by the German autos Mercedes-Benz. The S class has proved to be the best model for Mercedes for about fifty years in its numerous manifestations. The S class has introduced many of the company’s newest and advanced features including safety systems, interior features and other technological items. It has been claimed as the worlds best-selling luxury sedan. It is launched in I4, V6, V8, V12, diesel models as well as hybrid powertrains models.


The S class S 350 was introduced with a smaller and a lighter body as compared to its antecedent models. The S class was released as the styling reminder of the Mk I A-Class. Even with smaller exterior dimensions the car had an enormous interior. With every new S-class the design had many innovations in it including Active Ventilated Seats and Airmatic Air Suspension. A COMAND input control system was introduced too. Other features on the option list included were a radar-controlled Distronic cruise control system, keyless entry and ignition and a cylinder shut-off system called Active Cylinder Control. The model released for the North American market was the 4MATIC all-wheel drive system.


2002 MERCEDES S350

In 2002, Mercedes-Benz released the world’s first defensive safety system on the S 350. It received an exterior restyling with a change in the grille angle position and the xenon-discharge headlamps had a different look. In 2005 it was awarded with TÜV Institute environmental certificate and was ranked as the first vehicle to receive this award. It also fulfilled the criteria for the Technical Compliance for environmentally friendly.


2005 MERCEDES S350

The all new S 350 was released in 2005 at the Frankfurt International Motor Show. It was exported to other market in 2006. In North America it was released in 2006 at the North American International Auto Show. This s350 was a bit larger than the previous model and is offered with three different engines options. The interior is all new with every accessory to materials used and perfectly makes it a luxurious ride. A  new column-mounted shifter has taken place of the center console transmission gear lever the new technology used on the vehicle includes the latest Mercedes-Benz pre-collision system and an infrared Night View Assist feature. It is also known for its second consecutive generation of the s class to be only offered in a sedan body style.


In the U.S. market the 2010 model had an interior and exterior modification. The body-colored strips were no longer being used. Top notch security features were included. The brakes maintained to be more improved with new Brake Assist Plus system monitoring, a cruise control guided by the Distronic Plus radar.
It is considered that almost every luxury and convenience feature is offered in an automobile. Other features included are power door-closing assist and a DVD-based navigation system. There are some models available with optional designed interior packages that have wood and leather combination and power adjustable rear seats. Its well defined handling and a much comfortable ride makes it a vehicle with many virtues.


These are the quality that it is frequently demanded by the customers. It can be bought as a used car with reliability.
