The second generation of Mazda B-Series was also called as Mazda Proceed and till its last generation, the name was used. The Mazda B-series was launched in 1961, while the Mazda Proceed came in 1965 and continued till 2006. Mazda being the fifteenth biggest automobile manufacturing entity has tried hard to make this unit capture hearts of the target market.
Its partnership with Ford is the result of its endeavor to offer something unique. Mazda B-series and Ford Ranger are the twin cars manufactured by Ford for America. There is no relationship with the Japan stock, but we can see how the company has adjusted according to geographic location, keeping individual preference of different markets in mind.

The Exterior
When we have the Mazda Proceed review externally, we realize that the car has come in multiple bodies. It includes the pickups, truck and wagons to facilitate diverse customer needs. The pickup and truck came with 2 door option, while the wagon has five doors fitting in customer as according to requirement. The pickup and truck are more focused on load carriage, so less space for passenger seating is there. Later years, brought in pickup with 4 doors option as well, so the luggage and passengers can be carried with ease. The wagon has less space for exterior baggage, with more space on interior.
The features outside are, the Alloy Wheels for style with durability as the tire are indirectly supported by the rims. The Roof Rail provides additional exterior storage facility in Pickups and wagons. The multiple colors include Red, Blue, Silver and White. The white color is sold in most quantity leading to cost of production reduction, making it the cheapest in all the other colors.
The Interior
The interior was made comfortable and cozy with features to completely support. The Power Window provided smooth transition up and down with less force applied. The Power Steering had the maneuvering capacity because of steering wheel responsiveness efficiently. The other features include AC for interior atmosphere management and soft fabric of seats aside from a number of other things. The suspension is made strong enough, so even when the automobile is stuffed with inventory, the wheels are supported to avoid contact with the road. Mazda Proceed price increases with the features addition inside or outside, but it worth it in terms of quality experience.
The Safety
The security is at the best, with seat belts to provide sudden jerk protection. The Air Bags are installed on additional cost making the Mazda Proceed price increase, as it is an optional feature. The other safety enhancement factors include Anti-lock Braking system to reduce brake lock probability, while the Traction Control System is there to provide efficiency in traction distribution.
