All over the world, the world calls the large family car calls it Mazda 6 and another name of it specifically used in China and Japan is Mazda Atenza. Engine

MAZDA ATENZA Enthused with abundant technological advantages, convenience options, fashionable trim and interior comfort, Mazda 6 was launched in 2010 with 2 engine trims.

- 2.5L 4 cylinder engine; power output 170hp and torque output 167lb-ft @4000rpm
- 3.7L V6 engine; power output 272hp and torque output 269lb-ft @4250rpm

The transmission options available with these engines could be 5-speed automatic or 6-speed manual, those are available with both the versions. The powertrain of Mazda as compared to its competitor’s cars lies on top. A variable valve timing intake was the added function in 2.5L engine which outputs the smooth idle, great rpm and low emissions. The other valuable stuff that was plugged in included camshafts, balance shafts, head construction and aluminum block.

Whereas the 3.7L V6 was catalytic converters, injection molded manifold intake and an exhaust system that supported high power. With transmission the Active Adaptive Shift control was used for maximum acceleration and responsive braking.

In design Mazda indeed gave ultimate exterior styling to the Mazda Atenza. The car with its sharp edges and a sculpture rolling from façade towards the headlamp and up to the top of front wheel opening supports the sporty performance factor and cuts the length of front extension. The LED lights craved like jewels in the shiny surfaces of Mazda depict the high sense of fashion technique that designers at Mazda used in this car.
