The compact executive car, Lexus IS250 of today, has been introduced as an entry-level luxury car in the year 1998. It was initially sold as Toyota Altezza with trademark lights that were unique among the clutter. The word Altezza means highness in Italian, so the class that stood out was expected by this car. It was after the introduction of the Lexus brand that the year 2006 brought a second-generation enhanced design model 2006. The third generation, which was introduced in 2014, shrank the range sedan only. Before that in second generation the 2 door convertible ruled alongside 4 door sedan. The second generation brought 2.2 L  in inline 4 through the performance packed V-series was introduced as other option in 2.5 L, 3.0 L, 3.5 L with V6 and 5.0 L with V8 engine . The manual transmission was limited to 6 speed only while the automatic came in 6 and 8 speed. The last generation had engine limited to 3.0 L with 6 speed automatic and 8 speed manual option. This makes Lexus IS a power station for better performance and better drive.
