Range Rover - History

 The Land Rover is a brand that was first used by Rover Company for the model of 1948. The off road option included the 2 door and 4 door option with the pickup option in 2 door. The engine comes as in a 1.6 L and 2.0 L option with later introduction of diesel option.

 

The Land Rover Series II

The Land Rover Series II brought in improvements with 2.25L petrol option introduction. It gained attention like range rover evoque across globe with barrel side waistline and improved design truck cab variant alongside the previously present curled side window and circular roof. The twelve seat option was also introduced bringing in tax rebates.

 

The Series IIA was also introduced at reasonable price with no distinguishable difference in body though the minor changes were visible on close review.  The 2.25 L diesel option brought in short wheelbase soft-top with the five door top of the line station wagon. The improvements continued with the IIA Forward Control and IIB option.

 

Global Presence

For enhanced global presence, the Land Rover customization was done for developed countries. In this regard range rover evoque was customized in such a way that it has become the most famous range rover vehicle.  The under developed countries also got benefited from the mantra in the used car market with pocket friendliness. The vehicle improved with the basis remaining same.

 

The typical comfort factor was in hand with the overall interior scheming to fully support. The calm and cozy interior happened traditionally with the color scheming to support, with specs like Power Window, Power Steering and central control console to make the experience enhanced. The transmission that gained popularity was manual one, because on rough roads it works wonder. The automatic transmission was although introduced but was not something people preferred.
