Kia Bongo 3 - Whats in all the Generations?

If we divide the cars into two major classifications, every manufacturer will have cars that can be put in the modern luxurious cars and let it be classification number 1. Second will be the useful ones, that won’t have any revolutionary changes to offer over the years but still are equally popular due to their reliability of transportation. These cars will be long enough in the market and there will be a moderation in the modification in the specs and so in the price. Thus these vehicles always remain in demand for people who have new or tough business requirements to meet.

The vehicle has been in the local markets of several countries and in the reselling markets as well. Kia Bongo’s life since 1980 is based on four generations until present. It is a medium sized pickup truck that may reasonably carry the heavy loads for years even when it is used Kia Bongo. There has been huge demand for these trucks since late 1980’s. 1st Generation of KIA Bongo 3

The driving option had always been Kia Bongo 3 4WD with only an exception in a few versions. In 1980, the small truck was first introduced in the market. It was also named as Kiamaster which did last only for a few years of the first generation. The standard engine in the first generation is 2.2L with power rate of 70 PS. Another engine was added five years later with decreased capacity of 1.4L and configuration basis was changed from S2 to UC. The SF Bongo III was also introduced in the same generation with an increased power of 80 PS. This Bongo 3 with diesel engine was sold under the name of Power Bongo.

2nd Generation of KIA Bongo 3

Started in 1989, the second generation did not bring any major changes in the Bongo3 until 1992 when engine capacity was raised up to 2.7ltrs. Three years after the bongo received another change that was a facelift and new engine. This Bongo was named as Bongo J2 and this pickup truck was received well in the market. In the same generation the passenger coach design was configured with not much of engine change. The passenger coach from this generation is known as “BestA”. The performance of BestA was noticeably high in the Brazilian market where it broke the selling records of several other minivans.

KIA Bongo 3 3rd Generation

You may find moderately modern but used Kia Bongo for sale from up to three generations. The third generation that started in 1997 lasted till 2005. The first name that was introduced in this age was Bongo Frontier. The All Terrain version of Bongo Frontier was developed in the same age. A 2.7ltr engine with power capacity of 80PS was a standard engine with another option of increased power (90PS) in 3L engine. The major facelift in Bongo occurred in 2000.
