It was from the year 1995 to 2003 that Honda Saber named Honda Insight was available in market. Today we see the brand as a motorcycle. But in past it was the name used by Insight that was a Saber car.

Launch And Production Of Honda Saber

It was the second of Honda Saber that 4 door options was available with the 3200 CC V6 engine, 2500 CC straight 5 and 2000 CC I5. The transmission employed was automatic one with 4 options in gearbox. It was a 4 door hardtop option with production at Marvsville Auto Plant of Ohio. It was identical to Honda Inspire UA1-UA3, and because of the change in Japanese government regulations related to dimension and engine displacement V6 model sales increased drastically.

The End

It was the third generation of Honda Insight that brought in the last Saber car models assembling process. It was the first ever car by Honda that was designed and built in USA, so as according to few, the option was not cost effective and had a cut down leading to end of Honda Saber.

The sales of Honda Saber was not up to the mark, though the engine were made strong enough with 3200 CC and 2500 CC V6 option to support. The 4 speed and 5 speed automatic transmission was available that provided human intervention less experience. It was 2003 April that discontinuation of Saber car happened.

The Features

Though the feature analysis shows that Honda Saber was fully loaded with interior and exterior having all it take to make a decent make in its era. The Alloy Wheels, Body Kit, Roof Rail could be installed with quiet ease for those looking for lavish look. The temperature control system with screen that worked as TV and Navigation provided comfort filled luxurious experience on the go.

Overall Honda Saber was able to make its mark of identification in short tenure of 8 years.
