Honda Insight is a hybrid electric vehicle produced from 1999 till today. It was first manufactured vehicle to have Integrated Motor System, exclusive to Honda. It was available as a three door and five door hatchbacks, with features of typical hybrid. The hybrid, lx, ex ze2 and ze3 bring a touch of excitement to the Honda Insight.

First Generation Insight

HONDA INSIGHT The first generation brought in vehicle with optimized aerodynamics and light weight structure made of aluminum. The integrated motor assist gave the vehicle support in terms of providing an electric motor which acted as engine starter, balancer and traction assistor.

Initially the Taurus shaped grill was installed which was not seen in later models.

Second Generation Insight

The second generation started in 2009 and had continued till today. It was all new and had dedicated 5 seats, 5 door options. The vehicle brought in new style definition was first shown in Paris Motor Show 2008. Its interior has greater space as compare to its other similar body competitors and had gained greater popularity over the years. Although the second generation had a lot of technology up gradation, though it was kept in mind that fuel economy was not neglected.
