Overview of Hybrid Cars
Hybrid cars have two drive systems on board. As a rule, hybrid car vehicles referred to as which are equipped with a gasoline engine and an electric motor. This one uses the positive characteristics of both engines. Thus comes about on the highway, the gasoline engine is used because it provides sufficient power. Through the resulting excess energy of the electric motor of the hybrid car is charged, which is then used in urban traffic. When the electric motor of hybrid cars is in operation, there are no pollutants and the car drives very quiet.
Combustion engine and electric motor are perfectly matched with hybrid cars. In some hybrid cars, the gasoline engine is really only be used if the power of the electric motor is not sufficient. Likewise, in a hybrid car, the electric motor on the front axle can work, while the combustion engine simultaneously acts on the rear axle. Vehicles that have only an internal combustion engine, but the run on two different fuels, are no hybrid cars - they are called bivalent cars. They are often referred to colloquially as but hybrid car. NGVs are often offered as bivalent vehicles, thus can be operated at gas shortage with petrol. These bivalent cars are necessary as long as the network of filling stations for natural gas is not yet sufficiently developed. The same can be operated for cars with diesel and vegetable oil (biodiesel).
Honda Hybrid Cars
Honda - The name had in the auto industry once a really good sound. The late eighties and early nineties, the Japanese company with its engines dominated Formula 1, winning six world titles and then developed together with Ayrton Senna the NSX supercar. It was the first production sports car from Japan which could offer a Ferrari Paroli.
Advantages
The advantage of Honda hybrid cars is the optimization of fuel consumption. The Honda Civic Hybrid, a hybrid car with combustion engine and electric motor, for example, achieved a fuel consumption of less than 5 liters. Examples of hybrid cars are the Honda fit, Honda Civic Hybrid, Honda Accord hybrid and Honda insight.
Spacious
The Honda Jazz looks much spacious, and it drives much more harmonious. Also, a new hybrid drive is on board: A 1.5-liter gasoline engine with 110 hp and a 30 hp, the electric motor gearbox integrated care in conjunction with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission for economical and comfortable driving. In the first test drive, the car looks in any case considerably more joyful than the previous model. In the unrealistic consumption cycle of the Japanese authorities, it should be satisfied with 3.2 liters. On the same platform as the Jazz based the second hope from Honda: a small SUV, which goes under the name Honda Vezel hybrid in Japan which is coming to Europe in 2015.
