Overview of Hybrid Cars

Hybrid cars have two drive systems on board. As a rule, hybrid car vehicles referred to as which are equipped with a gasoline engine and an electric motor. These bivalent cars are necessary as long as the network of filling stations for natural gas is not yet sufficiently developed. The same can be operated for cars with diesel and vegetable oil (biodiesel).


Honda Hybrid Cars

Honda - The name had in the auto industry once a really good sound. The late eighties and early nineties, the Japanese company with its engines dominated Formula 1, winning six world titles and then developed together with Ayrton Senna the NSX supercar. It was the first production sports car from Japan which could offer a Ferrari Paroli.

The advantage of Honda hybrid cars is the optimization of fuel consumption. The Honda Civic Hybrid, a hybrid car with combustion engine and electric motor, for example, achieved a fuel consumption of less than 5 liters. In the first test drive, the car looks in any case considerably more joyful than the previous model. In the unrealistic consumption cycle of the Japanese authorities, it should be satisfied with 3.2 liters.  On the same platform as the Jazz based the second hope from Honda: a small SUV, which goes under the name Honda Vezel hybrid in Japan which is coming to Europe in 2015.
